Finlock Gutter Removal — Pudsey
This 1960s semi-detached property in Pudsey had severely deteriorated Finlock concrete gutters causing persistent damp, cold spots on the bedroom walls, and visible mould growth. The homeowner had previously tried lining the gutters, but the problems returned within a year.
We carried out a complete Finlock removal, installed new fascia boards, modern uPVC guttering, and fully insulated the eaves. The cold bridging was permanently eliminated, and the property now has a dry, well-insulated roofline built to last decades.
EPDM Flat Roofing — Horsforth
A rear kitchen extension in Horsforth with a failing felt flat roof that had been patched multiple times over the years. Water was pooling in several areas and leaks had started damaging the kitchen ceiling below.
We stripped the old felt back to the deck, replaced damaged timber, installed new insulation board, and fitted a Firestone RubberCover EPDM membrane in a single seamless sheet. The result is a maintenance-free flat roof with a 20-year manufacturer warranty and our own 10-year workmanship guarantee.
Fascias & Soffits — Morley
Complete replacement of rotten timber fascias and soffits on a Victorian terrace in Morley. The existing woodwork had deteriorated badly after years of exposure, with peeling paint and visible rot around the gutterline. We removed all old timber, installed new uPVC fascia boards, soffit panels, and matching half-round guttering in anthracite grey. The finished result transformed the front elevation and will require zero maintenance going forward.
Roof Repair — Guiseley
Emergency roof repair on an exposed stone-built property in Guiseley after storm damage dislodged several ridge tiles and cracked a number of slates. Given the property’s elevated position near the Chevin, it regularly takes a battering from westerly winds. We replaced all damaged slates, re-bedded the ridge tiles with modern dry ridge fixings for superior wind resistance, and checked the full roof for any further weaknesses. The homeowner now has complete peace of mind heading into winter.
